Seeing that the release of Ultra Magnus in the Classics line was nothing more that just a repaint of Optimus Prime (again!), I decided to let my imagination have another go at it kinda like when I did the Classics Cliffjumper.

I tried to make Ultra Magnus's vehicle mode look as close to a current day car carrier as possible while still looking a little armed like pretty much most of the non-Prime repaint Magnus' have been. In place of Optimus Prime's wind deflector is the top portion of the car carrier that can become a large blaster, a back mounted flight pack for the base robot, or the chest plate of the super robot. The base robot is pretty much turned upside down and the legs become the shoulders. The super robot head comes out from under the front bumper. The super robot's arms come from the top portion of the car carrier trailer and connect to the shoulders, the remaining portion of the car carrier trailer becomes the legs and waist of the super robot while the base robot rests on top of the trailer.
